What we measure
This test analyses sequences of your DNA to provide over 100 health insights, from your risk of injury to gut issues you're predisposed to, and much more. These DNA sequences contain specific instructions for how your body should function, and by analysing them, we can understand what changes they may cause in the body—and how this can influence your health.
Diet
12 health insights
How your body digests and uses food as energy is shaped by your genes. This includes how you respond to different sorts of foods, how fat is distributed on your body, and more.
Vitamin needs
18 health insights
Your genes can influence how your body uses nutrients. By analysing the instructions in your DNA, we can find out if you’re predisposed to any nutritional deficiencies.
Stress
6 health insights
How your body responds to stress can be shaped by your genes, including how your heart is affected by stress, how caffeine influences your stress response, and more.
Sleep
6 health insights
Our sleep patterns are determined by our body clock, which is a 24-hour rhythm that controls essential bodily processes. Certain genes can affect how the body clock is set, which can impact your sleeping patterns—including how deeply and long you sleep for.
Anti-aging
6 health insights
The types of physical and psychological changes we experience as we age can be influenced by our genes. The instructions in your DNA can indicate which changes you may be predisposed or resistant to.
Risk of injury
5 health insights
Bone, muscle, and tendon function are shaped by the instructions in your DNA. Analysing these instructions can help us to gauge your risk of certain injuries.
Mental health
6 health insights
Genetics can play a role in mental health, alongside other factors like your environment and relationships. Particular genes can affect how the brain develops and functions, which may shape how we respond emotionally to certain situations, our ability to focus, and more.
Gut health
5 health insights
Inside your gut there are trillions of microorganisms that carry out important jobs, like fighting off infection and digesting food. Your genes can influence the balance of microorganisms within the gut, which can affect your risk of health problems like gut irritability.
Heart health
5 health insights
Your DNA contains instructions for how your cardiovascular system should work, from the ways cells communicate to how well you can process cholesterol. In some cases, these instructions may cause changes that increase the risk of heart disease.
Immunity
8 health insights
How your body fights off infection is significantly influenced by your genes. By analysing your DNA, we can get a sense of how strong your immune response is, and which changes you can make to help it work better.
Eye health
5 health insights
Genetics are linked to a number of eye conditions, including glaucoma and cataracts. Certain instructions within your DNA can indicate an increased risk of developing eye disease.
Skin health
10 health insights
From softness to how sensitive you are to the sun, your genes can influence your skin characteristics. This test can help you discover which skin traits you’re predisposed to.
Muscle health
4 health insights
The ways your muscles function and grow are shaped by your DNA. Certain genetic instructions can affect how well your muscles perform, are affected by stress, and more.
General health
5 health insights
Discover how your DNA impacts your risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes, infections like the flu, bone density, and sensitivity to caffeine.

This test can indicate which traits, characteristics, and health risks you’re prone to—and how this shapes your health needs.
Your DNA is the blueprint for how your body should work, and your genes are sections of these instructions that are passed on throughout the body so they can be put into action.
Humans have around 25,000 genes, and for the most part, these are the same in all of us. However, there are differences in less than 1% of them—and this is what makes us unique.
Genetic variations can happen when the position of one of the molecules within a sequence of DNA changes. This tweaks the instructions that sequence is carrying, which can cause changes in how the body works.
These variations are called SNPs or “snips”, and they shape characteristics that are unique to us, from how our body copes with stress to how our skin behaves.
This test looks at your SNPs. By doing so, we can understand the specific traits and health risks that you’re uniquely predisposed to. These personalised insights can help inform lifestyle changes that better support your health.

Your results:
what to expect
Your results will be delivered as a 188-page online report, that provides 100+ health insights.
You’ll receive a breakdown of which traits, characteristics, and health risks you’re predisposed to, along with guidance on what this means for your overall health and wellbeing.
The report also contains advice on how to act on your results. For example, if your genetic results show that your muscles can exert a high level of power, high-intensity weight training done over short periods of time may be the most effective way for you to build strength.
This test is accurate at identifying particular DNA sequences, but your results are not a diagnosis of any health problems. While in some cases, results may indicate an increased risk of disease, this doesn’t mean that you have or will necessarily get that disease. Genetics aren’t the only factor that influence your health—your environment, lifestyle, and more play important roles, too.

FAQs
Based on the specific DNA sequences identified, this test can tell you whether you’re predisposed to certain traits and characteristics which may increase your risk of disease—but not whether you actually have any of those diseases.
Only a doctor can diagnose you with a disease, but they make take your genetic test results into account when making their decision. They will also weigh up other factors, like your medical history and symptoms, and will likely also run further tests to figure out what’s going on.
Genetics can give us useful insights about our health, but they aren’t the only factor that influences it. So even if your results suggest you’re at risk of a particular condition, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll get it.
Completing the test itself takes a few minutes at most. After following the instructions in the kit to register the test, you simply need to provide a small saliva sample using the tube inside the kit. Thhen simply post it back to us—it’s free.
Our accredited labs require 3 weeks to process the sample and complete the analysis. You’ll receive your results in a 188-page online report.
This test analyses the cells within a sample of your saliva. Each cell in the body contains DNA, and from this sample clinical scientists can identify different sequences of DNA in a lab.
Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking at least 30 minutes before providing your saliva sample.
Aside from that, there’s nothing else you need to do.
Genetic tests are accurate in identifying sequences of DNA, provided you don’t eat, drink, or smoke at least 30 minutes before you take your sample.
Our tests follow the highest standards for health service safety and best practice. As well as being CQC registered (this is a quality mark for health services you can trust), we’re UKAS accredited—and all of our labs are, too. We also used advanced encryption to protect your health information.
